Butterfinger Gets Creative with French Toast Flavor
You know what Las Vegas does best? Taking something familiar and turning it into an experience. Well, Butterfinger just pulled a Vegas-level move with their latest creation. The candy bar company launched Butterfinger French Toast today, bringing all those weekend brunch vibes into a portable treat. Think of it as your favorite diner breakfast wrapped up in that signature crispety-crunchety coating we all know and love.
This isn't just another candy bar flavor either. Yann Bastien, Butterfinger‘s Vice President of Marketing, explained it perfectly: “French toast is a classic that hits across generations—mom made it, diners serve it at any hour, your friends beg for it at brunch, and it still feels like a treat every time.” They’ve captured that syrupy, cinnamony goodness without the sticky mess, which honestly sounds like a win for anyone who's tried to eat actual French toast on the go.

Vegas Connection Brings High-End Pastry Twist
Here's where it gets interesting for us locals. Dominique Ansel, the James Beard Award-winning pastry chef behind the famous Cronut, is collaborating with Butterfinger on this launch. You might know Chef Dominique from his bakeries right here in Vegas at Caesars Palace and Paris Las Vegas. Starting February 27 through March 1, he'll debut an exclusive Butterfinger French Toast Croquembouche at his SoHo bakery in New York.
Chef Dominique Ansel shared his excitement about the collaboration: “French Toast has always been one of my favorite brunch staples, so when I tasted the new French Toast flavor, it inspired me to create a different way of eating Butterfinger.” His version features five delicate pastry puffs in three different flavors, transforming the candy into an elevated dessert experience. It's the kind of creative thinking that makes his Vegas locations such gems on the Strip.
Perfect Timing for Sweet Tooth Satisfaction
The Butterfinger French Toast bars hit shelves nationwide today and will stick around through April, giving everyone plenty of time to try this breakfast-meets-candy innovation. This marks Butterfinger's third new flavor in the past year, following their successful Salted Caramel and Marshmallow varieties.
If you‘re curious about trying Chef Dominique’s pastry creation but can't make it to New York, remember that his Vegas bakeries often feature special creations too. Check out the Dominique Ansel Bakery locations at both Caesars and Paris for their rotating seasonal offerings. Sometimes the best part about living in Vegas is having world-class everything right at our fingertips – even when it comes to elevated candy bar experiences.
