The Billboard Music Awards are coming back to the Las Vegas Strip for the 2022 ceremony! Due to the pandemic, the show has been held in Los Angeles for the last two years but is now set to return to its usual venue at the MGM.
This year s awards show will be held on Sunday, May 15, at 5 pm at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. This will be the 18th year that the show has been hosted here.
The host and lineup of performers for the show have not officially been announced yet. Last year s awards were hosted by Nick Jonas and included stars like The Weeknd, Machine Gun Kelly, Drake, Alicia Keys, Bad Bunny, the Jonas Brothers, P!nk, Gabby Barrett, and Doja Cat.
This is one of the biggest nights in music. 2022 is sure to bring even more high-profile stars to enjoy, perform, and collaborate on the Vegas stage.
Each year Billboard honors artists based on their standings on the Billboard charts. Categories include Top Artist, Top New Artist, Top Male & Female Artist, Top Streaming Song, and more.
The ceremony will be available to watch on NBC starting at 5 pm local time.
