HGTV's “Rock the Block” is bringing its seventh season right here to Sin City, and let me tell you, this isn‘t your typical suburban renovation show. The lineup for this season is pretty impressive. Former NFL star Vernon Davis is teaming up with HGTV's Mina Starsiak Hawk to take on three other celebrity-designer pairs. Each team gets a $275,000 budget and seven episodes to transform their Vegas home into something spectacular. The goal? Increase the property value the most and walk away with bragging rights plus a street named after them.

Davis seems ready for the challenge, saying competition is in his DNA and that he‘s excited to step into renovation territory. His partner Starsiak Hawk is equally determined – she made it clear she doesn’t want a participation trophy.
The competition includes some serious star power: Scott McGillivray paired with Brooke Hogan, Taniya Nayak with 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey, and Kim Wolfe teaming up with “Survivor” alum Chelsea Meissner. Ty Pennington returns as host, with guest judges including Lisa Vanderpump and Luann de Lesseps adding their own flair to the judging process.
When Vegas Homes Get the Hollywood Treatment
The fact that these renovations are happening on one-level homes with multi-generational suites shows the producers really understand our local market.
