2. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day a little early
St. Patrick's Day isn't until next week, but you can get a jumpstart on the revelry at the Downtown Water Street District's three-day St. Patrick's Day festival. This year's theme is "The Leprechauns Made Me Do It."
Experience a taste of Ireland with themed food, whiskey tastings, and Irish step dancing. There will also be carnival rides and games every day. A parade kicks off on Saturday at 10 am.
