Located at 7050 Wetlands Park Lane 89122 off of East Tropicana, Wetlands Park Nature Preserve consists of ponds, trails, and a bird viewing blind. The park admits visitors free of charge to its Nature Center Exhibit Hall, other events and activities. It was founded in 1999 and has hosted approximately 1.5 million visitors since then. The birds in the facility include herons, egrets, ducks, and geese.
